Well....this post had to come up some day..its been a while I'm been recognised as one of the Storyboard artist from Nid in Mumbai television and Film industry. A roller coaster from "no pay" to "less payed" to "fix frame rates"..its been a long journey. Sleepless nights, neck breaking speed of work is what storyboarding is all about.Visualizing films with directors and cinematographers is fun. These are some selected frames from different commercials which have been already on air.
p.s. Most of them had very little time....:(

A Strange Dream

This Film was made in 2006 as a part of my curriculum diploma project, a self sponsored one.The film is based on my city where I saw the first light of the day, Kolkata , the city of Joy for some or the cultural capital for some others.Its a non linear interpretation of Rabindranath Tagore's poem "A strange dream " with abstract visuals depicted through a kid's dream.

Khude: Little one

This is my class room project done in 2005 back in NID in my final year of my design studies. Its a film based on the complex education system of our country and also portrays a kids inner self through his own shadow. Rest is all in the film . Enjoy!!!

These are rejected layouts for some illustrations based on Mexico...i liked it being simple line drawings...the colour palette is not at all Mexican...the client asked for stylization....still fighting it out....good fun though....

OH KOLKATA MY KOLKATA

Finally I'm posting..after a long time..............................got really caught up with work!!!
These sketches were done a month back when I went to my city...Kolkata....after three long years...it hasn't changed !!!! really what I left behind still stands upright as a hallmark of the metropolitan of the East.....didn't get much time to explore the place where i was born but yet got little to explore the new parker pen on paper :)

Friend, viewers, countrymen and women sorry for not posting work for a long time...its has a been a roller coaster ride for me over a month..... went home after three years...did some work there too... will be posting soon...and also busy working on some great project .. so please wait for sometime..they will all be up in a BANG!!!
